What is Planet IX?

Planet IX is an online crypto game based on NFTs. The multiplayer strategy game takes place on the titular planet. Planet IX also acts as a metaverse; connecting real-world geolocations to user-generated virtual environments and works as a bridge between the digital and the physical world. The Marketplace was launched on the 25th of November, 2021, unveiling several new interactive features and gaming functionalities. As with any new GameFi product, more game mechanics and features will be added as the project progresses through its development roadmap.

The real-world geolocations in the Planet IX metaverse are called PIX and can be claimed, bought, sold, and eventually customizable. The Marketplace is the only way to acquire specific “sniped” PIX, as the Weekly Pack Drops are randomized by their Fair Launch Approach. Players can list, bid, and instantly buy PIX in their Marketplace currently, and now with the help of LI.FI, they can do so from any of the supporting chains.
